I’ve got a real treat for you!
My relationship with bourbon was on the rocks and then all at once I saw it in a whole new light!
Topping the classic whiskey sour with red wine gives a delicious new take on the cocktail!
The Bored-O Blanc grape nectar from Domaine Santé is a nice replacement for simple syrup in this pre-prohibition drink. It also enhances the wine floater that tops this beautiful cocktail
- 2 oz Bourbon or rye whiskey
- 3/4 oz Bored-O Blanc grape nectar
- 1 oz Lemon juice
- 1/2 oz Cabernet Sauvignon

Add bourbon, grape nectar and lemon juice to a shaker and fill with ice

Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice

Carefully pour the wine into the glass, over the back of a spoon so it floats on top of the drink
