Easy Strawberry Mousse
I’ve been trying berry hard to a-mousse you with my captions lately…
With so much work being put into my writing…I thought I’d whip up an easy to handle dessert!
Get a load of this simple, fresh strawberry mousse!
Just a few ingredients and a couple of bowls…then my Ovente immersion blender handled all the heavy lifting. It did a great job of whipping the cream, puréeing the strawberries and leaving me with very little clean up!

- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 12 oz strawberries washed and sliced
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- Strawberry slices for topping
Whip the cream and powdered sugar with your immersion blender until thick and creamy
Purée the strawberries and the sugar with your easy to clean Ovente immersion blender until smooth
Set aside 1/2 cup of puree
Add the whipped cream to the larger amount puree and gently fold together
Place a couple of tablespoons of the strawberry purée in the bottom of each serving dish
Top with the strawberry mousse
Refrigerate for at least an hour
Garnish with sliced strawberries
