Sugar
Egg

Halloween Skeleton Thumbprint Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter softened
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
• 1 tsp baking powder
• Pinch salt
• 1/4 cup jam

Instructions

1. Preheat the oven to 350°F, line cookie sheet with parchment paper
2. Cream together butter and sugar
3. Add egg and vanilla
4. Mix until blended
5. Slowly mix in flour, baking powder and salt
6. Scoop dough into balls and roll in sugar
7. Place on prepared pans and flatten each cookie slightly
8. Make an indentation for eyes and fill with 1/4 tsp of jam
9. Bake 10-12 min
10. Cool slightly and move to cooling rack to cool completely
11. Melt chocolate and coconut oil in microwave in 15 second increments
12. Place melted chocolate in piping bag and decorate cookies
13. Enjoy!
