Golden Raisin Scones
I dough-n’t know about you…but I sure love a warm scone right out of the oven! So this morning I baked up some golden raisin scones!
These beautiful scones are delicately sweetened with Domaine Sante Bored-O Blanc grape nectar and deliciously satisfying!

Sweetened with grape nectar, these beautiful scones are delicately sweet and deliciously satisfying!
- 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup cold unsalted butter cut into pieces
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons Bored-O Blanc grape nectar
- 3/4 cup golden raisins

Preheat oven to 400º F

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside

Sift together the flour, salt and baking powder

Add the butter and cut into the flour mixture until it resembles coarse sand, set aside

Mix together the egg, milk and grape nectar

Add the wet ingredients to the dry and stir to combine

Fold in the raisins

Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and shape into a round about 1” thick

Cut the round into 8 pieces and move them to the prepared baking sheet

Brush each scone with additional grape nectar

Bake 18-20 minutes, until they start to brownAllow to cool slightly on baking sheet

Serve with butter and jam, or just eat as is…they are perfectly sweetened and delicious
