Snowball Cookies

Packed full of butter and buttery walnuts, these snowball cookies…or Russian Tea Cakes, are easy and delicious!

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 cups flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup finely chopped walnuts
• 1 cup powdered sugar for decoration

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
3. Cream together the butter, sugar and vanilla
4. Mix in the flour, salt and walnuts
5. Roll dough into about 1″ balls and place on baking sheet
6. Bake 12 – 15 minutes until firm but not brown
7. Cool slightly
8. Roll warm cookies in powdered sugar
9. Enjoy!
