Paleo Apple Crisp with Pears and Raisins
All the flavors of Fall are in this apple crisp and it's paleo!
Ingredients
Topping
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 tablespoons coconut flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 cup coconut oil
- 1/4 cup honey
Fruit Bottom
- 4 apples peeled and sliced
- 2 pears sliced
- 1/2 cup raisins
- zest from 1 orange
- juice from 1 orange
- 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon arrowroot powder
Instructions
Topping

Mix together the almond flour, coconut flour, salt and pumpkin pie spice

Add the coconut oil and honey and mix until combined
Fruit Bottom

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

Combine the sliced apples, pears, raisins, orange zest, orange juice, pumpkin pie spice, salt and arrowroot powder

Mix until the fruit is coated with juice and spices

Pour the fruit into an 8" or 9" cast iron skillet or oven safe dish

Cover the fruit with the topping

Bake about 35 - 45 minutes until top is golden brown and fruit is soft
