I’ve been hearing a lot about tahini cookies lately, and thought why not! I love nuts and seeds..I love cookies made with almond butter and cashew butter! I’m a huge fan of halva and that toasted ground sesame paste that I love so much would probably make a delicious cookie! It does! Try them, you’ll like them!

Chocolate Chip Tahini Cookies | Gimme A Minute Ep. 28
- 1/2 cup tahini
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F
Line baking sheet with parchment paper
Mix together the tahini, sugar and brown sugar until crumbly
Add the egg, water, vanilla and mix until creamy
Mix in the salt and baking soda
Add the flour and mix just until combined
Stir in chocolate chips
Scoop large tablespoons of dough onto prepared cookie sheet
Flatten slightly with the back of a wet spoon
Bake 9 - 11 Minutes until golden brown
Cool on wire rack
