Super simple and delicious homemade hummus…
This hummus is so yummy, I could easily eat an entire batch of this all by myself! No chips required, I love this stuff by the spoonful!
Of course it’s also great with pita chips and bread…and it makes an awesome spread for sandwiches and wraps.
This very basic recipe is my personal favorite hummus and it works great as a base recipe to build in other flavors. If you’re not a huge fan of garlic, you may want to cut the garlic back to 1 or 2 cloves. I enjoy the spicy, garlicky flavor this has with 3 big cloves of garlic…but feel free to adjust that to your tastes.

- 2 cups chickpeas
- 3 Tablespoons tahini
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 Tablespoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup vegetable stock
Place the chickpeas, tahini, garlic, lemon juice, salt and vegetable stock in a food processor and process until smooth and creamy
