Cheesesteak Flatbread

- BreadMasters Ara-Z Lavash
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 cup lager
- 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tablespoon oil
- 1 large onion sliced
- 1 red bell pepper sliced
- 1 yellow bell pepper sliced
- Salt and pepper
- 1 – 2 tablespoons oil
- Salt and pepper
- 1 lb skirt steak

Melt butter over med heat

Add flour, salt, mustard and garlic powder

Cook for a minute stirring constantly

Add milk, slowly, and whisk until smooth

Add beer and stir to combine

Cook over medium-high heat until it begins to thicken

Reduce heat to low, add cheese and stir until melted

Heat a large nonstick skillet over med heat

Add oil, onions and peppers
-
Season with salt and pepperCook 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until soft

Season steak with salt and pepper

Heat skillet over high heat
-
Add the oil and the steak to the pan

Sear until browned, about 2 to 3 minutes
-
Flip and cook another 2 to 3 minutes
-
Remove from heat, cover loosely and allow to rest 10 minutes

Slice across the grain

Preheat oven to 350ºF

Smear lavash with enough beer cheese for your liking

Layer on some onions and peppers
-
Bake 15 minutes until crispy

Add the skirt steak
-
Top with chives
-
