Meatball Mozzarella Wraps

Ingredients

Meatballs

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup flat-leaf parsley chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan
  • Salt and pepper

Wrap

  • 2 cups marinara
  • BreadMasters Markook flatbread
  • Shredded mozzarella

Instructions

Meatballs

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper
  3. Combine ground turkey, egg, bread crumbs, onion, garlic, red pepper flakes, Worcestershire, parsley, Parmesan, and a pinch of salt and pepper
  4. Mix meatball ingredients until combined
  5. Roll into 16 meatballs
  6. Place meatballs on prepared baking sheet and bake about 20 minutes

Wrap

  1. Heat marinara sauce over medium-low heat
  2. Add meatballs to sauce and simmer
  3. Place mozzarella on bottom half of flatbread
  4. Layer with 4 meatballs and some sauce
  5. Roll up and place seam side down on hot, buttered grill pan
  6. Heat until crispy
  7. Flip and crispy the other side
  8. Enjoy!
