Chocolate Banana Donuts

Ingredients

  • 1 large very ripe banana
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Glaze

  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

  2. Mash banana with a fork until smooth

  3. Add sugar, oil, egg and vanilla and stir until combined
  4. Mix in the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt
  5. Divide the batter between 6 donut wells
  6. Bake for 18 -20 minutes, until they spring back when pressed gently on top
  7. Cool on rack
  8. Mix together the powdered sugar and milk
  9. Dip each donut in glaze
  10. Enjoy!
