Ramen Noodle Stir Fry

Quick, easy and delicious...this pork stir fry really elevates those ramen noodles!

Ingredients

Sauce -

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper
  • 1 teaspoon brown sugar

Noodle Stir Fry -

  • 6 oz ramen noodles 2 packages
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 Tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 medium onion sliced
  • 5 cloves garlic minced
  • 6 - 7 cups cabbage and carrots 14 oz bag coleslaw mix
  • Green onions for garnish

Instructions

Sauce -

  1. Mix together the soy sauce, ginger, crushed red pepper and brown sugar
  2. Set aside

Noodle Stir Fry -

  1. Cook the ramen noodles in boiling water for 2 minutes, do not use sauce packets
  2. Drain and set aside
  3. Cook the pork over medium high heat until no longer pink, 3 - 5 minutes
  4. Remove from pan and set aside
  5. Add the sesame oil to pan
  6. Add the onions and cook about 1 minute
  7. Stir in the garlic and cook about 30 seconds, until fragrant
  8. Add the cabbage and carrots and cook until the cabbage begins to wilt about 3 minutes
  9. Stir in the the cooked pork and sauce mixture
  10. Add the ramen noodles and toss to combine
  11. Serve, garnished with green onions
